With the release of their latest character, Kamisato Ayato, resident anime pretty boy, Genshin Impact is celebrating the Hues of the Violet Evergarden event.
They also released a special Genshin Impact web event, When Flowers Bloom. Here players were awarded Primogems, Ascension Materials, and more.
This is one of the many web events Genshin Impact has done over the past few years and the rewards are substantial.
Unfortunately, the When Flowers Bloom web event has already ended since Ayato’s release, but for those of you looking for a little more information about web events, we’ve got you.
Let’s go over the details of the When Flowers Bloom event!
When Flowers Bloom Event Awards & Details
When it was active, the event was a simple point-and-click game that garnered at least x40 Primogems for a couple of minutes of work.
During the event, Travelers had to complete certain tasks and also help Yashiro Commission servants tend to flowers and plant new ones.
There are a few cutscenes and quirky things going on while you do these tasks so it’s not all just pointless clicking. Which is reason enough for some fans to do these web events.
Besides the x40 Primogems awards, there are a few other in-game rewards to earn as well:
- Mora
- Varunda Lazurite Fragments
- Primogems
- Mystic Enhancement Cores
This isn’t explicitly detailed by HoYoverse so we’ll mention it to help you get a better feel about potential web event rewards along the way.
To play a Genshin Impact web event, all you had to do was click on the link provided in their Event News updates section.
These web events will typically have their own pages which you click on to play the event. This was the When Flowers Blooms link when the event was active.
A key takeaway here is these events really don’t last that long. When Flowers Blooms was active only from 25/3/2022 to 30/3/2022 so it was really easy to miss out.
In case you missed this one, don’t worry because there will always be more like their past events.
What’s the next Genshin Impact Web Event?
Currently, we have no way of knowing what event is next or when it will be released.
Based on their pattern and history, they release web events during certain holidays or before a new character’s release like “Festival Celebration of Flowing Hues” and “The Cranes in the Clouds” events.
Both web events ran a course of about 5-7 days so they’re time-sensitive. They’re not crucial to the game’s progression but are a great filler to expand the world and its lore.
Both the aforementioned Genshin Impact web events also awarded similar rewards as the When Flowers Bloom event. They awarded some Primogems, Adventurer EXP, Mora, & Character Ascension Materials.
But whatever the next Genshin Impact web event may be, make sure to keep an eye out on Genshin Impact’s socials and HoYoverse to be in the know.
Regularly check back here too and we’ll outline the details of new Genshin Impact web events, rewards, timeline, and a step-by-step guide on how to complete them!
