Some Quests in Genshin Impact aren’t as direct as the majority and can be a bit confusing at first. You might find yourself stuck looking for something and wandering around longer than you’d like.
One such Quest is the Treasure Lost, Treasure Found Genshin Impact World-Quest found in the Liyue region.
While it is fairly straightforward, you can definitely get lost along the way which is why we’re going to be showing you exactly how to do it, step-by-step.
For players who want to solve the Quest on their own and avoid spoilers, I’d suggest skipping this. But then again.
Treasure Lost, Treasure Found Genshin Impact Guide
Before getting to the exact specifics of the Quest, here’s where you’ll find Soraya, the Quest Giver for Treasure Lost, Treasure Found. She’ll be in front of the ruins in Guili Plains. You can also Teleport directly to the “Domain of Forsaken Ruins” and move southwest.
Once you speak to Soraya, she will ask to you find the ‘Treasure’ which is a set of inscriptions hidden within the decimated Guili Assembly and other ruins around the Guili Plains.
From there, you’re now off to look for stone pillars and stone tablets to copy and bring back to Soraya to uncover its secrets.

Just keep in mind that there will be some enemies in this area including some Slimes, Treasure Hoarders, etc. So be ready for a fight when necessary.
The First Stone Tablet is located directly North of the entrance next to Soraya. There are two fire braziers located in front of the stone tablet which makes it easier to find.
The Second Stone Tablet is located slightly in the southeast direction from the First Stone Tablet. You’ll find a broken wall with two fire braziers on top of it. The Stone Tablet will be hidden behind a broken wall.
The Third Stone Tablet is located to the East of the Second Stone Tablet behind a locked Precious chest.
Similar to the other two, there are two fire braziers surrounding the Ancient Stone Tablet.
The Fourth Stone Tablet is located directly North of the Third Stone Tablet on a cliff overlooking the Wangshu Inn.
The Fifth Stone Tablet is located Southeast of the Fourth Stone Tablet in a circular-shaped ruin.
After investigating all of the Stone Tablets, make your way back to Soraya. She’ll say that there’s still a lot of missing information from the tablets and tasks you with finding a couple more.
For the next part of the mission, you’ll have to look for 2 more Stone Tablets but luckily, they’re marked on the map and you just need to follow the waypoints.
The First Stone Tablet will be towards the Southwest of the original Guili Assembly ruins and is surrounded by some Hilichurls and an Abyss Mage.
Defeat the enemies, unlock the chest for a bonus reward, and Investigate the tablet.
From there move on to the Second Stone Tablet located Southeast of the Guili Assembly ruins.
Once you get there, you’ll notice the Stone Tablet hidden behind a gate so take a right and enter from the open doorway. Finish the enemies off and Investigate the Tablet.
After this, make your way back to Soraya to report your findings. Completing this portion of the Quest awards you 30x Primogems, some Adventure EXP, and an Exile’s Circlet Artifact.
To continue the Questline, you’ll need to head over to the Wangshu Inn where Soraya is waiting.
Treasure Lost, Treasure Found Part II
After meeting up with Soraya in the Wangshu Inn, she’ll ask you to look for the Four Commandments in the form of Jade Plates around the Guili Plains.
The first one is marked and easily accessible by jumping off the Wangshu Inn and gliding towards the marker nearby.
Defeat the enemies guarding the Jade Plate and Investigate it. The rest of the Jade Plates won’t be marked on the map but can easily be spotted when viewing the World Map.
Check out below and you’ll see 4 distinct ‘Plates’ around the Guili Plains. We’ve marked a Quest Marker Pin next to it for ease of reference.
After going to all 4 Jade Plates and investigating them, you can either go back to Soraya and tell her you’ve found all the Plates or proceed to the circular ruin with water in the center of the Guili Plains. It’s right under the “Guili Plains” text you can see on the map.
After you find the final ruin in this Genshin Impact Quest, proceed to the Clue Mechanism and start it. But be warned, once you do so you’ll see 3 Ruin Guards around the ruins waiting to fight.
You’ll need to defeat them which can be quite a tough fight if you’re not prepared. Heal your party and equip your stronger characters to make it an easier fight.
After the battle, you can collect the treasure which consists of 1 Luxurious chest and 2 Precious chests filled with some goodies. Opening the Luxurious chest will enable the final step in the quest.
After the painful trudge to find the final ruin in Genshin Impact’s Treasure Lost, Treasure Found quest, all you have to do now is go back to Soraya to report your findings.
