Philanemo Mushrooms are a crucial component for the Anemo Treasure Compass which helps players find chests in Monstadt. You’ll also need these unique-looking mushrooms for Character Ascensions so you might need these more than you think.

Considering that the characters that need them are fan favorites – Mona, Klee, and Barbara. You’re probably going to need them at some point.

It’s one of those materials that you mostly ignore, but when you need them, you’re going to need a lot of them.

Where to find Philanemo Mushrooms in Genshin Impact?

Philanemo Mushrooms are notorious in the Genshin Impact community for being a pain to find and farm.

You’ll only find these Mushrooms growing on walls and rooftops in Mondstadt, particularly in these areas – Mondstadt City, Dawn Winery, and Springvale.

There are only a select number of them on the map and oftentimes will involve climbing up buildings to reach and collect.

So next time you’re looking for the mushrooms, look up high in residential areas and on buildings in Mondstadt.

Now that you’ve collected them all, you quickly realize you need just one more Mushroom for an Ascension, what do you do? Fortunately, we know how long it would take for them to reset after being harvested.

How Long Does Philanemo Mushroom Take To Respawn?

Once you’ve harvested a Philanemo Mushroom or any Local Speciality for that matter, it won’t immediately respawn. Genshin Impact has a very intricate schedule to follow and everything has its place and time. 

All Local Specialties including Philanemo Mushrooms will only respawn in 48 hours or 2 days after initially harvesting the material. This means you’ll have to wait for the reset in case you need to farm even more Mushrooms. 

Luckily, if you’ve already picked every Mushroom in Mondstadt but needed 2-3 more for Ascending a character, you have another option to look to, the merchant Chloris.

Where to find Chloris in Mondstadt

Chloris is a merchant who sells a selection of plants in Mondstadt and is useful if you need a few extra materials. Check out the highlighted portion of the map to find Chloris’s location – 

Following this route should lead you to her walking along the path very easily. Keep in mind that she will only sell 5 of each plant she has and it will take 3 days for her stock to refresh.
