Having crossplay and cross-progression across all consoles and gaming platforms is a scarce combo in modern-day gaming. Titles like Call of Duty, Minecraft, Fortnite, and only a handful of others have crossplay as well as cross-progression across all the platforms.
Rogue Company has a lot of catching up to do before reaching the level of any of these titles, but one thing that the First Watch Games title has down is future-proofing.
Cross console gaming is the future, and Rogue Company is far from rogue in this aspect. But, is Rogue Company crossplay?
Find out everything about Rogue Company cross-platform features and more!
Is Rogue Company Crossplay?
Rogue Company is available on Xbox and Playstation (old and new-gen consoles), Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam & Epic Games). And the game supports crossplay between all of these gaming platforms.
Whether you’re on PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, or a PC, you can team up with whoever you want. Just add your friends in Rogue Company using the in-game Social tab, and team up whenever you want.
It also means that PC players will face off against console players in multiplayer battles, meaning that a slight aim assist advantage will kick in at some point.

Is Rogue Company Cross Progression Enabled?
Yes indeed. Along with crossplay support, Rogue Company also allows its players to transfer progress from one platform to the other using in-game account creation and linking.
Whether you play on Steam or your Nintendo Switch, you can save your progress and pick up from there on any other platform, as long as you do everything on a single Rogue Company account.
Here’s how you can set up a Rogue Company account to make sure your progress across all platforms is saved and synced.
- Visit the Rogue Company website, and sign in using your primary console account. Pick the platform you use the most or have made the most progress on.
- Once the sign-in is complete you’ll see all the accounts that can be linked in Rogue Company for cross-progression.
- Now, just click on ‘+Link Account’ on whichever platform you want to link and all your progress will be synced with that account.
Once you link the account, all the progress in your secondary consoles will be overwritten with the progress in your primary console.
For example, if you have the most Rogue Bucks and Reputation on your PS4 and also play the game on Xbox occasionally, make sure you choose PS4 as the primary account.
So, choose carefully!
But if you accidentally mess it up, there’s no need to panic. Just unlink the accounts and everything will revert to normal.
Can You Disable Rogue Company Crossplay?
To further irk the crossplay haters – yes, some people don’t like crossplay- Rogue Company does not allow crossplay disabling.
Whether you like it or not, you will be matched up with cross-console players and there’s nothing you can do about it- apart from getting really good at the game.
Players should get to choose whether they want crossplay or not. Games like Apex Legends allow players to enable or disable cross-platform play, as it should be. Plus, adding an enable/disable toggle is easier than adding the crossplay feature itself.
Moreover, the fact that Xbox users can disable crossplay on Rogue Company is a bit annoying. You either do it properly or don’t do it all!
Let’s just end this rant here. That’s all there is to know about Rogue Company crossplay and cross-progression.
Players who love crossplay are in for a treat as they can team up on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and even the Switch. And if you don’t like it, begrudging acceptance is your only choice- or maybe switch to another game.
