What’s really neat about the game
Your station wagon is all that stands between you and these abnormalities in Pacific Drive.
Moreover, it has everything you’ll need to make it through the Olympic Exclusion zone.
Though your vehicle will protect you from harm, you are responsible for keeping it in good working order by making necessary repairs on the road using scrap you collect.
If a door breaks off your car or you get a flat tire, you can make a new one with the help of your handy tools.
Also, if you don’t come across any repairable automobiles on the side of the road, you’ll have to go off on foot to look for supplies to help you keep going.
In addition to worrying about your own well-being, you’ll also need to keep an eye on your vehicle’s gas and battery levels and pack enough spare parts and materials, such as rubber, to make a replacement tire if you or someone else’s gets damaged or stolen.
The difference between a mildly chaotic drive and a disastrous one is all in the planning.
If your run fails and you’re running low on supplies, you can always locate what you need in the mystery trash heap outside your garage.
