Developed by Delightworks in 2015, Fate/Grand Order (FGO) is a gacha-style tactical RPG game with an engaging storyline and stunning visuals to go with it.
It’s part of the long-running Fate series from the Japanese gaming company TYPE-MOON. And dare we say, Fate/Grand Order is their best RPG game right now.
One of the biggest reasons behind the success of Fate/Grand Order is that it is a very well-balanced game. The gameplay kicks off easy but gets tougher as you progress- and to keep the balance, you get increasingly powerful playable characters.
The characters in FGO are called Servants, and there are a lot of them. According to FGO Gamepress, there are currently 274 playable Servants in Fate/Grand Order.
The total goes up to 335 if you combine the FGO tier list of JP and NA, which we won’t do. We will try and get an FGO Japan tier list once the recent updates finish.
Still, 274 is a big number, and choosing the right Servant gets difficult. That’s where our Fate/Grand Order tier list comes in.
Our gamers went through a lot of trial and error to help compile this FGO tier list, so you won’t have to.
So, let’s jump into our Fate/Grand Order Servants tier list, starting with an FGO 5-star tier list and then moving into lower rarity Servants.
FGO 5-Star Tier List
These are the rarest Servants in Fate/Grand Order, but not all of them are worthy fighters. However, if you do manage to get hold of an EX, S, or A-tier FGO Servant, it’s best to build on that.

FGO 4-Star Tier List
In terms of ability, the 4-star tier list of FGO Servants are pretty close to the 5-star Servants.
However, it is easier to get your hands on the 4-star Servants. And, if you can create the right build, some of these 4-star tier list FGO Servants outperform the 5-starers.

FGO 3-Star Tier List
Filled with AOE and Support Servants, the 3-start FGO tier list has some good team players, but it’s the STs that really stand out.
A majority of these are available in the General Summoning Pool, while others are Story-Locked. In short, it’s pretty easy to get hold of 3-Star Servants.

We decided to merge the FGO tier list of 2 & 1-star Servants because these are just not worth it.
Very few of these have any real battle power, and most of these are just a collection item. They are cheap and easy to get, but not worth even the slightest of trouble.
