Well, we’re here to alleviate some of your kitchen stress and bring you 15 awesome ACNH kitchen ideas from talented designers.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons Kitchen Ideas
15. Country Kitchen
Nothing beats a cozy country kitchen in Animal Crossing! It’s almost the quintessential Animal Crossing cute kitchen style and it’s no surprise why a lot of players flock to this kind of kitchen. It’s dainty, it’s cute, and oh so homey.
Twitter user @grandmarosiee expertly shows how to do this style. They used Ranch Tea Tables as counters and placed a Ranch Cupboard with the Ranch Kitchen.
They decorated the place with a basket of Carnations, a Rose Coffee Cup, jars of Apple Jam, and a fresh basket of Bread. The walls are lined with Dried Flower Garlands, Mom’s Art, and Mom’s Embroidery.
Oh, to visit grandma and eat fresh bread and jam while lounging about in the afternoon sun!

14. Christmas Kitchen
Make every day a Christmas day with this kitchen idea from siren.isle.crossing! Winter holidays are a wonderful time, and if you want to have that festive feel and holiday cheer preserved in your kitchen, try emulating this style in your home.
Start with a Cabin Wall and use some of the Wooden Furniture Series, like the Wooden Wardrobe, Wooden Chest, Wooden Stool, and Wooden End Table. For the stove and sink, use the Open Frame Kitchen.

13. Mexican Kitchen
It’s wonderful when you get to share different cultures through games, and creators like u/ALittleBirdNamedEnza are lovely for doing this. Their kitchen idea is based on Mexican kitchens with wonderful abuelas cooking dinner.
In this build, they used a Yellow Paint Wall to give the walls a vibrant color, Wedding Decoration for the flowers and placed a Sombrero on the wall.
For the kitchen, they added flipped Den Desks for counters, a Yellow Design Kitchen Mat as a rug, White Gas Range, Ironwood Cupboard, Unglazed Dish Set, and a Frying Pan With Veggie Saute.
The dining area has a Turkey Day Table, Wedding Bench, Wedding Chairs, Classic Pitcher, Fruit Basket, and a Wood Burning Stove. The codes for the paintings can be found on the Reddit post.
12. Small Wooden and Minimalist Kitchen
The creativity and logistics involved when designing for a small area can be quite impressive. Twitter user mofu_mori shows that there is beauty in simplicity and neatness, even if the space can be quite restrictive.
This build has Version 2.0 pieces and new cooking items in ACNH, like Partition Walls, Wooden Pillars, Wooden Partitions, Natural Wood Counter Tables, Simple Wall Shelf, Hanging Shelves, and Shopping Bag, Milk Glass Lamp, Horizontal Split Curtains, Schefflera, and Coconut Oil.

11. Rustic Kitchen
This kitchen by lilytozzi on Tumblr uses dark brown furniture and items with warm colors, giving the whole thing a rustic vibe. They used flipped Den Desks as counters, Turkey Day Table and Chair for the dining area, customized Simple Panels to look like open cabinets, Ironwood Cupboard, and a Turkey Day Hearth.
The wall decorations like Floral Swags, Hanging Terrarium, and Tapestries helped with the aesthetic a lot.
Other items in this Animal Crossing kitchen design are a Double Door Refrigerator, Wedding Cake, Holiday Candle, Turkey Day Casserole, Cornucopia, and Turkey Day Table Setting.
10. Black and Dark Wood Kitchen
Here’s another entry for small kitchen fans. Twitter user cozybearcross tried their hand at 4×4 designs and made a small black kitchen with dark wood furniture and black appliances.
In their build, they used black appliances like Refrigerator, Gas Range, Espresso Maker, Range Hood, Laptop, and an Upright Speaker. Black Wooden Pendant Lights illuminate the room, and the Terrarium and Monstera are nice greenery additions.
Cool Chairs are placed next to the counter and you can sit on them and enjoy an Iced Caffe Latte.
The cabinets, paneling, windows, wine shelves, backsplash, and floor are all Custom Design codes credited on the Twitter post.
09. Cottage Kitchen
This lovely and cozy kitchen idea is from Twitter user mabelsapron. The furniture and items they used are in soft and light colors. For furniture, they mostly used the Ranch Set, like Ranch Kitchen, Ranch Tea Table, Ranch Cupboards, and Ranch Chairs.
Other details in this that help make the whole thing work and come together are the Carrot Cake on the Gas Range, customized Stack Bags, customized Simple Stool, Casablanca Lilies, Cooking Tools and a bag of flour on the table, Veggie Cupcakes, Milk Glass Lamp, Elegant Beige Rug, and customized Horizontal Split Curtains.

08. Modern Kitchen
A sleek and modern kitchen also has its charms, and that’s what mistycove.isle achieved with this kitchen build. The cooking area has a Kitchen Stove with a sizzling Imperial Pot, a Range Hood, and Kitchen Counters with Cooking Tools, Stand Mixer, and a Glass Jar. The Counter Tables and Counter Chairs are, of course, a perfect match.
The Espresso Maker and Sugar and Cream are together on one end, while a basket of Bread and an Analog Kitchen Scale are found at the other side. Other items used in this kitchen are Hanging Shelves, Cat Grass, Nordic Pendant Lights, and a plate of Brown Sugar Cupcakes.
The highlight of this kitchen is the big open windows. The code for this is made by mistycove.isle and requires Glow-In-The-Dark Stickers to customize.
07. Fruity Kitchen
Add some popping colors to your kitchen by trying out this fruity kitchen design by cozybearcross! They wonderfully utilized the numerous fruit furniture in the game, which honestly can be a bit hard to integrate with the rest of the furniture.
With a Red Brick Wall, Brick Pillars, Drapery, Steel Island Counters, and Dual Hanging Monitors, together with all the fruit furniture in the game and some smoothies, this is one sweet concept!
06. Traditional Japanese Kitchen
Having a traditional Japanese kitchen in the game is also possible, thanks to a lot of Japanese-themed items.
Reddit user u/sakuranin demonstrates how to do this by using a Model Shoji Screen Wall, Shanty Mat, Firewood, Clay Furnace, Hearth, Wooden Bucket, Barrel, and some Ironwood Furniture. Now that the game has food items, you can spice up your kitchen with Japanese-themed meals.
05. Outdoor Kitchen
Cooking while enjoying the sunshine and breeze sounds like a luxurious experience that’s perfect for Animal Crossing.
Tumblr user twinkleacnh shows that this is possible with just a few items. Set up some Storefronts and Stonework Kitchens, and your outdoor kitchen can go from there.
Add some Wood Plank Tables, Ranch Kitchen, Veggie Basket, and a Stewpot, and you’re good to go! Some new cooking items in ACNH that can be used for this are Pumpkin Soup, Pumpkin Curry, Salad, Jarred Mushrooms, and Minestrone Soup.
04. Concrete Kitchen
This unique kitchen design idea is the masterful work of mofu_mori! It uses concrete-themed items, like Concrete Wall, Concrete Flooring, Concrete Pillars, and Concrete Island Counters.
Silver Vintage Stools, Ceiling Spotlights, and Simple Shaded Lamps go well with the concrete theme.
03. Villager-Themed Kitchen
Thanks to the DLC, we can now renovate our villagers’ homes. To make coming up with ideas easier, why not have their interior design match their character?
Tangy can have an orange-themed kitchen, with an Orange Wall and orange-brown wood furniture.

This is one of the most unique kitchen ideas I’ve ever seen, and that’s precisely why it gets a spot here on our list. If a colorful and eclectic kitchen is something you’d want to try, pick up some of the elements that buginmypocket used in this design.
They matched Groovy Wall and Gray Vinyl Flooring together. They customized the Refrigerator and Stand Mixer to be yellow, as well as turned the Ranch Cupboard pink. The customized Table With Cloth goes well with the pink and green Froggy Chairs. Groovy!
