Unidentified Falling Object Triggers Mass Speculation
A Twitter page, Daily Loud, posted the video with a caption claiming it depicted a UFO crash in Las Vegas, with figures lurking behind a forklift.
One figure even appeared to be occupying the forklift. The video quickly gained traction, drawing millions of views and prompting diverse reactions from the online community.
However, many internet users remain skeptical, questioning the authenticity of the video and suggesting that mobile cameras might not have accurately captured the figures.
The Spine-Chilling Encounter: Witness Narration
In the viral video, three frightened men can be seen in the backyard of a house, their focus seemingly directed towards the forklift.
A YouTube video on the same event features a witness describing a figure as “a tall, skinny alien creature with greenish color that was almost eight to 10 feet tall was hiding behind a forklift.”
The witness further narrated the encounter, saying, “I looked at it in the eyes, and my body just froze like having sleep paralysis.
I can hear its loud, deep breathing, and its stomach kept moving. He would just stare at me, and seconds later, I could move again.” The same witness also claims to have called 911 to report the alien creature in his backyard.
Social Media Reactions: A Balance of Intrigue and Skepticism
As the news spread, the 1-minute 21-second video shared by Daily Loud swiftly went viral. By June 13, 2023, it had amassed 23.7 million views on Twitter alone.
However, despite its popularity, many social media users expressed skepticism, suggesting that the people involved could be fabricating the story.
Police Response to UFO Claims
Following the reported 911 call at around 12:25 am on May 1, 2023, local police arrived at the scene. As per KLAS reports, officers questioned the witnesses about the mysterious incident.
One officer was quoted asking, “This might sound like a really dumb question, but did you guys see anything fall out of the sky? I would normally discount it as probably not real, but — however, seeing as one of my partners said they saw it too, the only reason I’m investigating it further.”
After their investigation, the officers warned the witnesses about the consequences of prank calls and stated that if the ‘9-foot beings’ return, they should not be alerted.
According to 8NewsNow, the call about the strange figures came after an object was spotted streaking low across the sky on April 30, 2023. VICE reported that NASA has since confirmed that the object was likely a bright meteor.
Despite this official statement, the debate continues to rage on social media, proving once again that the allure of the extraterrestrial is irresistible, whether fact or fiction.
