Mystic Messenger players know V very well, but only as a side character in Casual and Deep Story mode. But the Another Story add-on brought a major change to V’s arc, making him one of the main characters.
The heartbroken kid of Deep Story became the heartbreaker in Another Story.
V’s brand new route is one of the more complex ones. Trying to date this depressed photographer with a keen sense of privacy will take all your wooing skills.
So, we suggest you only try out the V Mystic Messenger route at the very end.
But before we get on with our V charm guide, here’s how to get V’s route in Mystic Messenger.
Mystic Messenger – How To Get V Route?
To unlock the latest Mystic Messenger routes, you’ll have to spend 550HG – 300 for V’s route and 250 for Ray’s.
The reason for buying both simultaneously is because these two interlink. Treating Ray in a certain way increases your chances of impressing V. Here’s all you have to do.
- Respect V’s privacy. Don’t force him to open up too soon.
- Back him up in conversations and help him out in tricky situations.
- Shut out Ray- but be nice to the group.
- Join at least 51% of group conversations- any lower, and you’ll trigger the Bad Endings.
Even if you miss a few, you can always use up hourglasses to go back and access the chat.
Pro Tip: Do not open up Another Story before finishing Casual and Deep Story- there are loads of spoilers.
V Mystic Messenger Endings – The Good, The Bad, The Ugly!
The tangled V route results in some complex and shocking endings. And by shocking we mean an ending where the abuser becomes the victim and one where V becomes the player’s slave.
Here are all the V Mystic Messenger endings.
1. The Normal Ending
The party has been canceled. V was in the hospital for some reason and MC is with him too. They both then go house hunting in the city. Both live together and V is now a musician.
To get this ending, gain as many hearts with V as you can and attend the party with 0-9 RSVP emails (completed).
2. The Good Ending
The party has been canceled, but Rika is giving out wine to the guests; drugged wine at that. Yoosung learns of it and sends Rikw with Jumin to help her recover. A couple of cut scenes later, V reveals her real name and asks MC to be with him at another RFA party.
You’ll need lots of hearts from V and attend the party with 17+ opened RSVP emails.
3. Bad Ending 1
Rika grows close to the player and feels she is now better than V and equal to the player. Downstairs at the party, V is drugged and tortured by Ray. That’s when Rika swoops in and a cut scene begins with Rika in bed with the player.
Past Day 4, choosing wrong answers, not trusting V, and agreeing with Ray will bring this ending.
4. Bad Ending 2
V’s obsession with Rika is over. Now, he’s obsessed with you, the player. The “relationship” begins and you got what you wanted, or did you? Cut to 2 years later, the player is in a “compromising” position in a hotel bedroom with plenty of men and V is taking pictures. Make of that what you will.
Unleash your obsession with V and anger on Ray and Rika. And, choose wrong answers only after Day 7.
5. Bad Ending 3
The victim becomes the abuser.
V wakes up in a hospital and admits he can’t get Rika out of his head. Rika is also head over heels for V, and even says he can do anything to her. Moreover, she won’t harm the RFA anymore.
If you choose violence and revenge after Day 9, you’ll get this strange ending.
6. Bad Relationship Ending 1
Ray brings some new games to try with the player inside Rika’s room and then shares that Ray has another “Him” inside; split-much.
One thing leads to another and Ray leaves the room and locks the player inside until he can choose a punishment for the player.
Under 51% chat participation from Day 5, you’ll get to experience this horrid ending.
7. Bad Relationship Ending 2
V and the player are on a walk but Rika comes back to take V to Mint Eye where V’s new punishment awaits. The players are stuck inside the room while Rika takes V away.
From Day 8, keep your chat participation under 50%.
The new V Mystic Messenger content is wild, and definitely, worth the real money you’ll need to unlock Another Story. Even the bad endings are worth exploring for the cutscenes alone.
