Taylor Swift never ceases to amaze her fans and loved ones. During her recent Eras Tour in Philadelphia, the singer-songwriter spotted two familiar faces in the audience, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ kids, Inez and James.
In an acoustic moment during the performance, Swift greeted the children with a warm “hi” while flashing a big smile.
The Actress and her Kids Come to Cheer on “Aunt” Taylor
James, 7, and Inez, 6, along with their mother, Blake Lively, were spotted exiting the stage alongside Swift, who held James’s hand and waved goodbye to the fans on Friday night.
The two little ones, who are Lively and Reynolds’ eldest children, were excitedly cheering on their “aunt” Taylor during the show.
Swift’s friendship with Lively goes beyond the Eras Tour. In April, the two were spotted on a girls’ night out in New York City with musician sisters Alana, Danielle, and Este Haim, as well as Gigi Hadid.
Swift wore a mini spaghetti-strap dress by Simkhai with a silver chain on the skirt, while Lively went for a relaxed vibe, wearing loose-fitted jeans, a black T-shirt, gold necklace, and stilettos.
James, Inez, and Betty Inspire Taylor’s Creativity
Swift has mentioned during the show how she wanted to create characters on her Folklore album, using the names Betty, James, and Inez.
Lively and Reynolds also share a daughter named Betty, who is three years old, and a fourth child born in February.
Reynolds recounted the moment when his daughters realized Swift’s superstar status during an episode of Sirius XM’s The Jess Cagle Show.
The Deadpool star shared that their kids never quite understood that Swift’s singing went beyond just being a “hobby.”
“I think what’s most exciting for them is that for the longest time, they just thought Taylor’s just like an aunt, like a friend of Mommy and Daddy that’s very, very close, almost family,” he said. “And then they went to a concert one day and were like, ‘Ohhhhh, this isn’t a hobby.'”
A Family Dance Party for Midnights
Reynolds also shared that his daughters were thrilled when Swift dropped her album Midnights.
He even planned a “Midnights dance party” with his family, where they danced to Swift’s songs, including the ones with swear words.
“My favorite thing is when a 3-year-old is just throwing down the F-bomb in a song and has no idea,” he shared.
Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour continues to amaze fans and celebrities alike, with her special shoutout to Inez and James, proving once again that her music reaches all ages and brings people closer together.
