Live the high-life in Roblox in the awesome life-simulation game, RoCitizens. It is by far one of the best looking life-sims I’ve seen in Roblox and there’s plenty of stuff to do. The game was released back in 2013 but still has plenty of updates from dev Firebrand1.
RoCitizens is a great sandbox for roleplaying thanks to the variety of game mechanics available. There’s a variety of jobs to do in-game, vehicles and clothes to collect, places to explore, and a robust builder system with an expansive catalog of stuff to customize your home.
Today, we’re going to help players with some Roblox RoCitizens Codes to get you freebies to start your new life in RoCitizens. Some of them are free money codes for RoCitizens players, awards, and even pets!
But before we get to the latest Roblox RoCitizens codes, here’s a rundown on the game.
What is RoCitizens?
Ro Citizens is a life-simulation game that allows players to do pretty much anything they could think of. To me, it feels like a mix of GTA: Online (heavily inspired UI) and The Sims franchise which is a very interesting mashup.
There’s a variety of careers to choose from like a barista, nurse, bus driver, police officer, and even a robber. We’ll go into more detail on careers and the best-paying ones below so stay tuned.
The most recognized aspect of the game is the ability to build & customize your own house with an expansive furniture catalog. This is where you’ll be spending most of your hard-earned RoCitizens money, building bigger and better houses.
Another huge part of RoCitizens is the social elements in-game. As you roam around town, you’ll find players living their lives, walking around, or doing their jobs. It gives the game a “living” feel to it and makes for a more immersive gameplay experience.
The huge map is a great sandbox for players to drive around town, visiting the numerous unique locations. Some of these include museums, a high school, the airport, a police station, a secret bunker, a hospital, a water park, and much more.
There’s still plenty I haven’t mentioned but overall, RoCitizens is a refined life-sim in Roblox and is worth the playthrough. The UI is well-designed and smooth and combined with the sheer amount of stuff to do, there’s plenty of content to indulge in.

Most currently active RoCitizens codes are for money in-game. The amount of free money you get may feel a little lackluster, so here are some tips & tricks to help you budget in RoCitizens
Roblox RoCitizens Tips & Tricks
When you first log in to RoCitizens, you’re going to be prompted to talk to “Hard Times” Henry. He’ll give you quick tutorial missions explaining things like where to get a car, buying clothes, getting your first job, etc.
I’d recommend completing the missions as soon as possible and moving on. To maximize your profit, here’s what you should do:
Sell Your Car
First, you’re going to have to go to “Spencer Auto” and buy a car. You’ll have to buy “The Undertaker” which costs $400. You’ll get a reward for finishing the mission, so just sell it right after for $280.
The car is ridiculously slow and you sprint faster than the car anyway.
After that, you’ll have to do missions where you have to buy things to progress. You’ll have to stop over at Bailey’s clothes shop and buy something. Buy the cheapest item (eg. eyepatch), get the reward, and do the next mission.
You can come back and shop so there’s no need to splurge at the beginning of your game. It’s better to save the reward money and buy a new car, bigger house, furniture, etc. Add in the mission rewards and all the RoCitizens codes, and you’ll have 10K easy.
Choosing the Right Career
There are currently nine different jobs you can do in RoCitizens:
- Nurses – $20/hour
- Barista – $15/hour
- Bus Driver – $25/hour
- Cashier – $13/hour
- Police Officer – $18/hour
- Line Cook – $13/hour
- Robber – Objective (over $2000 per job)
- Student – $10/hour
- Food Clerk – $13/hour
All of the jobs have various tasks you need to complete to gain bonus money which is added to your hourly rate. Except for the Robber, which is subject to if you succeed the heist or not.
But even without the hourly rate, I’d recommend choosing the Robber if you wanted a fun time robbing banks and stores while running away from the police. The payout is high if you do it right.
For a more “normal” job though, I’d recommend the Nurse or Bus Driver jobs since they have high hourly rates. That added to the bonuses for successful tasks will net a lot of money over time.
