Kim Kardashian cheers on Tristan Thompson as Lakers defeat Warriors

Kim Kardashian recently showed her support for her sister Khloé Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, after his team, the Los Angeles Lakers, won against the Golden State Warriors.

Despite Thompson being benched during the game, the Skims founder posted a photo of him smiling on her Instagram Story, writing “YESSSSS GOOOOO LAKERS”.

Kim sat courtside at the big game with her friend Sarah Staudinger and mom Kris Jenner, who brought along her boyfriend, Corey Gamble.

However, Khloé was not spotted in the Crypto.com Arena, as she and Thompson have been on-and-off since 2016, most recently calling it quits in 2021.

Thompson recently signed with the Lakers as a free agent in April and purchased a new home close to Khloé’s residence.

According to a source, the athlete was “thrilled” to be living nearby so he could “visit” Khloé and their two children, daughter True and their baby boy, whose name has not been publicly revealed.

Khloé and Thompson’s History

Khloé and Thompson have had a tumultuous relationship over the years, with Thompson being caught cheating on her multiple times, including with Kylie Jenner’s former best friend, Jordyn Woods, in 2019.

Despite their rocky romance, the pair have maintained an amicable coparenting relationship for their children.

In 2021, Thompson was sued for child support by fitness model Maralee Nichols, who claimed he got her pregnant while he was still dating Khloé.

The former Cleveland Cavaliers star confirmed his paternity after taking a DNA test and publicly apologized to his ex via his Instagram Story.

Meanwhile, Khloé and Thompson’s surrogate conceived their second child together in November 2021.

The pair welcomed their baby boy in August 2022, adding to Thompson’s children, which includes son Prince with ex Jordan Craig.

Thompson’s Hope to Reconcile

Despite Khloé’s clear stance that she’s not interested in getting back together with Thompson, a source told Us that the athlete hasn’t “given up hope” yet.

He wants to be there for his children and hopes to show Khloé over time that he’s there for their family.
