You can spend Dusklight Shards to stock up on Upgrade Material and Enhancement Prisms. You can even exchange them for Emblems or EDZ gear at Devrim Kay. Depending on your gameplay you can use these shards for different purposes.

Luckily there are different ways to ensure a steady stream of incoming Dusklight Shards. You can find them from anywhere in between Sludge and Trostland.

How To Get Destiny 2 Dusklight Shards

The Spider

The Spider on the Tangled Shore has an impressive inventory. His items shuffle daily. So if you search stock at every reset, you can get your hands on some Dusklight Shards.

In his stock, you will find many planetary materials. You can get them by shelling Legendary Shards, Glimmer, or other resources.

While buying Dusklight Shards, you can pay in Legendary Shards or Glimmer. Make sure to stock them in bulk.

Harvesting

Waiting for rotating stocks every reset isn’t a fun way to collect Dusklight Shards. It’s better to harvest them in the wild. They appear all over EDZ and you can simply collect them from their nodes.

Use the Resource Detector to search for Dusklight Shard nodes. The detector will point at nodes that are within 75 meters. The Shards come from tall white plants and are easy to find. You will require the right Ghost Mods to harvest them by hand.

You can also gain extra material by using Bountiful Harvest while harvesting.

Harvesting is a steady and sure way of stashing Dusklight Shards.

Destination Resource Bundle From Season Passes

You earn Destination Resource Bundle after you clear a few levels. The bundle contains a variety of planetary resources. These resources come in a pack of 50 and can even be Dusklight Shards.

Each season has 10 of such Bundles. All you need to do is clear a few levels and collect them as you go.

EDZ Patrols and Bounties 

Guardians can complete Patrols on EDZ to get Dusklight Shards. Each Patrol can earn you up to two Shards. 

You can earn 10 Dusklight Shard by completing Devrim Kay’s bounties. However, these bounties are limited to 3 each day.

Only relying on bounties and patrols won’t be enough to land a decent stock of Dusklight Shard though.

What do I do?

I harvest and collect Dusklight Shards and complete bounties and patrols as they come by.

It’s better to stock up on Shards and spend them on high-end merchandise. You can complete bounties, patrols, and harvest them a few days in a row and then spend them on good EDZ gear and Upgrade Modules.
