Hololive English, the popular Vtuber agency, has announced the opening of auditions for its highly anticipated third generation of talents.
This marks the first round of auditions since the debut of the Council back in August 2021, creating excitement among fans and aspiring Vtubers alike.
Hololive’s History of Talent Debuts
Throughout its history, Hololive has gained recognition for its frequent debuts of new Vtubers. Across all its branches, including Holostars, the parent company Cover currently boasts a roster of 79 unique talents.
The time gap between each new generation can vary, typically ranging from a few months to a year in each industry.
Since the August 2021 Council debut, Hololive EN has not introduced any fresh talent.
However, the dry spell seems to be coming to an end with the announcement of auditions for the upcoming third generation of Hololive English Vtubers.
Official Announcement and Application Details
Hololive EN took to Twitter to make the exciting announcement, stating, “Hololive English is holding an audition for creators of virtual content! We look forward to meeting our future talents!”
The announcement tweet includes a link to the application form, providing aspiring Vtubers with more information about the benefits of joining Hololive, expected activities, and general requirements.
Prospective applicants must meet certain requirements, including being at least 18 years old, fluent in English, and not bound by contracts with other agencies.
Once the application period concludes, Hololive will commence the verification process. Successful candidates will then be invited for video interviews, and ultimately, a select few will be chosen to join the agency.
While the audition page does not explicitly specify the number of talents to be selected for the new generation, previous Hololive EN debuts, such as Myth and Council, have featured five new talents.
Therefore, fans can anticipate a similar number of Vtubers to join the agency’s ranks this time around.
Hololive’s Expansion in Other Branches
Although Hololive English has not introduced new talents in nearly two years, the agency has been actively expanding its presence in other branches.
Hololive Japan saw the debut of Gen 6 in November 2021, followed by Holo ID Gen 3 in March 2022. Additionally, a total of twelve Holostar Vtubers have been introduced across the English and Japanese branches.
