Tim Moss, Director of Technology at Sony Santa Monica, has revealed the monstrous amount of space that God of War III is set to take up on Blu-Ray. In a tweet this morning, Moss states “#GOW3 35Gb of goodness. Thank heavens for Dual Layer Blu-Rays”. Blu-Ray capacity is currently averaging at 25 for single-layer, with this doubling to 50GB for dual layered discs. Stephen Toulouse, Director of Policy and Enforcement for Xbox LIVE, has today responded to the video that has surfaced on the internet of a video that apparently provides incriminating evidence of a “corrupt” Xbox Live Moderator. I’ve seen the phenomenal opening cutscene to Square Enix’s latest Final Fantasy title plenty of times now, having imported the Japanese PlayStation 3 version released back in December. Following confusion earlier when the released PR made no mention of Sony’s current console, Kimi Matsuzaki, Senior Community Developer for Ubisoft, has confirmed that Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is heading for PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
