Amber Heard has been spotted enjoying her new life in Madrid, Spain, where she has moved with her two-year-old daughter Oonagh Paige.
After the negative fallout from her high-profile divorce with Johnny Depp, Heard decided to leave her old life in Hollywood behind and start afresh in the Spanish capital.
Visit to Museo Sorolla
On Thursday, the 37-year-old Aquaman star visited the ‘Museo Sorolla’, which was the home and studio of the renowned Spanish painter Joaquín Sorolla.
Heard was spotted hopping out of a ‘Bolt’ taxi and making her way into the museum, where she managed to jump what appeared to be a long queue of people waiting to get in.
Sitting in the courtyard of the historic residence, Heard’s friend- or perhaps tour guide- explained the significance of the artwork.
As she left the museum, Heard smiled and spoke willingly with locals, and even kindly told the few press photographers that were following her to be careful of the cars as they chased her across the road, saying “Cuidado señores” (“Careful guys”). She then hopped back into the taxi and drove off.
Starting a New Life
Heard’s move to Madrid has been a quiet one, as she left Hollywood and moved to Spain with her daughter.
A friend of Heard’s told the Daily Mail that she is happy in Spain, raising her daughter away from all the noise.
Being bilingual in Spanish, Heard seems to be enjoying her new life in Europe and is in no hurry to go back to work or Hollywood.
However, she will be back when the time is right for the right project.
Amber Heard’s new life in Madrid seems to be agreeing with her, as she was spotted enjoying the famous museum and chatting with locals in Spanish.
Her quiet move away from Hollywood and the US has given her the space and peace she needs to raise her daughter away from all the negative fallout from her high-profile divorce with Johnny Depp.
Although she is in no rush to go back to work or Hollywood, we can expect to see her back on screen when the time is right for the right project.
