The second weekend of the Coachella music festival was filled with surprises as Zendaya, Sia, and Maddie Ziegler joined Labrinth on stage to perform for a lively crowd. The quartet delivered several hit songs, including the Emmy-nominated I’m Tired and All of Us.
Zendaya, known for her role in the popular HBO series Euphoria, performed the soft vocals for I’m Tired while wearing a pink corset top and frilly skirt.
She then brought her high-energy dancing skills to the stage for All of Us, where she kept the crowd entertained.
Emmy-nominated songs from ‘Euphoria’
I’m Tired was featured in a Euphoria episode titled You Who Cannot See, Think Of Those Who Can, and it received an Emmy nomination in the outstanding original music and Lyrics category last year.
The same category also recognized Zendaya and Dominic Fike’s Elliot’s Song, another track from Euphoria. Fike is also part of the Coachella lineup for Sunday.
Zendaya also co-wrote both of the nominated songs. All of Us, which closed out season one of Euphoria, was also performed during the surprise set.
Sia and Maddie Ziegler join in
Sia also surprised the crowd by wearing her signature wig when she joined Labrinth and Diplo to perform their LSD hit Thunderclouds.
Maddie Ziegler, known for her appearances in Sia’s music videos, joined Sia on stage in a similar costume.
Labrinth took a moment to express his gratitude for Sia, who he said picked him up and supported him when he was feeling depressed and down in Los Angeles.
“When someone picks you up and supports you as a friend, you gotta hold them close,” he told the crowd.
Zendaya’s music career
Although it has been ten years since the former Disney actress released her self-titled debut, Zendaya revealed in March 2022 that she still loves music, despite having stepped away from it for some time.
Her surprise appearance at Coachella showed her vocal and dancing skills as strong as ever.
Billie Eilish’s surprise performance
During the first weekend of Coachella, Labrinth was joined by Billie Eilish, and the duo performed their hit track Never Felt So Alone.
They had previously performed the duet for Eilish’s Kia Forum concert in Los Angeles last December.
The Coachella music festival continues to bring together some of the biggest names in the music industry while also providing a platform for up-and-coming artists to showcase their talents.
With surprise appearances from Zendaya, Sia, and Maddie Ziegler, this year’s festival will be one of the most memorable in history.
