A World of Warcraft player reaches max level without leaving the tutorial ship from Exile’s Reach!
I know, right? It gets crazier once you read it again and again.
This incredible achievement is among the most noteworthy World of Warcraft leveling experiments ever conducted.
Cheatcho, a Reddit user and World of Warcraft fan came up with the idea.
Moreover, they were able to level their Pandaren shaman all the way to 70 without ever leaving the tutorial ship players to spawn in on at the beginning of Exile’s Reach, the new starting zone introduced in Shadowlands.
But since there are no foes, gathering nodes, or other means of leveling up on board, Cheatcho had to get resourceful.
How did they reach the max level in WoW?
Cheatcho’s success came through the use of pet battles.
There are five daily quests that you can finish in World of Warcraft’s pet battle system to earn experience.
Such quests can be completed on one character and then turned in for credit on another.
To level up their Exile’s Reach character, Cheatcho parked five of their characters daily by each of these NPCs, completed the missions, and cashed in the experience each day.
Moreover, it only took Cheatcho five minutes a day, every day, yet it took them over 200 days (or over 17 hours) to complete their mission.
This is how it went:
The community was speechless
After witnessing Cheatcho’s seemingly endless tolerance and boredom, many gamers questioned their sanity.
Unexpectedly, Cheatcho said they would be reaching the max level in World of Warcraft again as a Rogue, one of their least preferred classes in the game.
Moreover, within hours after the upload, Cheatcho’s Reddit thread has already gathered over a hundred comments.
Though Cheatcho can visit Grimaxe whenever they choose on the Exile’s Reach ship, we hope to see more of these charming people in upcoming storylines.
