The Avengers actor Jeremy Renner has been on the road to recovery following a harrowing snow plow accident earlier this year. In January, the actor suffered from blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries after being run over by a 14,330-pound snow plow while attempting to reach his nephew in the snow. Now, Renner has been spotted enjoying a day at Six Flags Magic Mountain theme park in Valencia, California with his family.
Renner’s Recovery Progress
Since the accident, Renner has been focused on his recovery. In a recent Instagram post, he shared a photograph of his family at the Six Flags Magic Mountain theme park in Valencia, California.
In the photo, Renner is seen leaning against a pole with the help of a cane and a motorized scooter beside him. He captioned the photo with “Good Friday, made magic on the mountain with some of my amazing family!”
Jeremy Renner also shared a photo of himself seated on the motorized scooter through his Instagram story, captioning it with “Leading the way best I can.”
Diane Sawyer Interview
Renner recently sat down with Diane Sawyer for a special on ABC News titled, “Jeremy Renner: The Diane Sawyer Interview – A Story of Terror, Survival, and Triumph.”
During the interview, the actor detailed the accident and how he was physically and mentally impacted by his injuries.
Renner revealed that he was immediately sent into surgery after the accident, under the belief that he wouldn’t survive. The traumatized actor even prepared a goodbye letter for his family.
Upcoming Public Appearance
Despite his injuries, Renner has been determined to continue with his work. The actor is set to make a public appearance on April 11, attending the premiere of his new reality series “Rennervations” which will be aired on Disney+.
The series follows the actor as he works on home renovations and designs for various clients. The show has been in the works for several years, with Renner expressing his excitement for its premiere on social media.
