GTA 6 must have everything it can have – from spaceships to Godzilla, zombies to vampires, a mission to rob Fort Knox, become President, run SpaceX with Elon, and own an island with a private jet and runway.
There’s not much to go on to confirm if these will be in the game.
But we do have some serious info on expected, speculated, and probable GTA 6 gameplay features and the game itself.
How big is GTA 6?
GTA 6 should be the biggest game there ever was, bigger than Microsoft Flight Simulator and that’s the truth of the matter.
But just how big can it be?
There are rumors that GTA 6 will be 750 GB big and accommodate 400 hours of gameplay.
That many hours of gameplay seems unlikely. Even Persona 5 Royal stretches to max out at around 100 hours.
But then again, GTA 6 will be next-gen. We are getting multiple playable characters, more than one city location, and new gameplay features too. Let’s talk about that.
GTA 6 Gameplay Leaks
If not for Rockstar admitting to the massive September 2022 leaks, we’d have only speculation so far.
But once it’s on the web, it never really goes off, does it?
Here’s everything that I know so far about GTA 6 gameplay features.
Co-Op
You may get to dictate how your sidekick, maybe one of the two confirmed playable characters operates, in different scenarios. Dual-character missions may also mean seamless co-op gameplay integrated right into the base game. Cool.
Intelligent AI
GTA 6 will have an advanced AI engine running in the background. Expect unpredictable scenarios or harder-than-predicted engagement situations to mimic IRL interactions.
Police and CCTV System
We’ll surely get a realistic policing system in GTA 6. Random minute criminal actions will generate response and the severity of police response will be a lot higher than what we were accustomed to in GTA V. Sounds like fun.
Realistic Vehicle Interactions
GTA 6 will bring passenger seat entries into vehicles. It may also evolve in-game interactions with the vehicle for realism, from better car interiors to in-vehicle gameplay mechanics like a car dashboard UI, radio, among others. Expect the cops to set ambush missions for you to complete and probably an option to surrender to them as part of the gameplay strategies.
New Gameplay Systems
There’s a lot to do in GTA V or GTA Online but not much that shouts realism. Rockstar might be looking to change that in GTA 6. Playable characters will get to purchase businesses, manage their body weight and muscles, go prone, hack into in-game systems (not sure how this will work out!), use auto-dialers, etc. Despite some rumors suggesting GTA 6 will be set in the 80s, I think it will align well with the current timeline.
Dynamic World Ambience
A key add-on we are expecting to an already increasing list of speculated GTA 6 features is a highly intuitive and interactive open world. You will get more buildings to enter, random NPC interactions, real-world requirements, and more. Other than that, GTA 6 should bring the latest gaming immersion to the graphics department. Expect Rockstar to bring their expertise and perfection from RDR2 to GTA 6 only to make it even better and probably set golden ultra-realistic standards. Will GTA 6 skip PS4 to accommodate the upgrades? No way to say no to upgrades but surely Rockstar will deliver on backward compatiblity..
Even though most of what we have speculated on GTA 6 gameplay features are related to confirmed leaked footage and info, I believe Rockstar’s onto something big. GTA 6 will set new benchmarks for gaming even though the real challenge is keeping the essence of Grand Theft Auto alive.
