According to the leak, the first Fontaine update will include the fan-favorite sibling pair Lyney and Lynette.
Both characters have been rumored to join the playable lineup since their debut in one of Genshin Impact’s initial story teasers in 2020.
The leak suggests they will share the same banner, which aligns with earlier leaks indicating different rarities for the siblings.
Character Details: Rarity and Elements
Lyney is expected to be a new five-star character, while his sister Lynette will likely have a lower four-star rarity. This means that players can acquire both characters by pulling on the same banner.
In terms of elements, multiple leaks suggest that Lyney will be a Pyro character, similar to that of Dehya, wielding a bow as his primary weapon.
As a main DPS character in Genshin Impact, Lyney’s kit is thought to be similar to Yoimiya’s, another Pyro bow character who serves as the primary damage dealer in most parties.
Currently, his overall damage numbers are reportedly stronger than Tighnari’s but weaker than Ganyu’s.

Leakers claim that Lynette will be an Anemo character capable of summoning an elemental spirit that remains on the field for 10 seconds.
The spirit will deal coordinated damage when the active character executes a Charged Attack.
