Genshin Impact, the highly popular HoYoverse RPG, is set to receive its next update of version 3.6, and fans are in for a treat.

Sumeru Region Expansion
The game’s newest region of Sumeru has already seen multiple expansions in previous updates, and now the desert sands will be expanded even further.
New characters
HoYoverse has officially confirmed that the two newest Dendro characters, Baizhu and Kaveh, will be joining the game’s roster in the April update. Baizhu, a fan favorite who appeared prominently in Liyue’s story, will finally be available for players to use in battles.
Moreover, the Genshin Impact version 3.6 Special Program, which aired recently, gave fans a sneak peek into what they can expect from the upcoming update.
The new expansion to Sumeru’s desert region will feature a new weekly boss and story content centered around Nahida.
New events
The main event of Genshin Impact version 3.6, “A Parade of Providence,” will follow the Akademiya Extravaganza, an annual festival held in Sumeru City. The event will include a variety of mini-games that will test players’ skills with both logic-based puzzles and combat challenges.
Furthermore, the update will introduce new Artifacts, such as Nymph’s Dream and Vourukasha’s Glow, which will provide players with unique buffs and Elemental Skills.
Several smaller events will also be held throughout the update, such as “Fulminating Sandstorms” and “Brewing Developments,” which will challenge players to utilize various buffs in combat, and “Recollector’s Path,” which will feature a unique top-down bombing mechanic.
