Despite the mixed reviews, Forza Motorsport 2023 is a Game Pass flagship that has a bit for everyone. It’s for console gamers almost as much as it is for sim racers with stocked-up sim racing setups. While at that, this new Forza tries to balance between arcade ease and sim racing precision, a bit of both worlds.
This is the 8th iteration of Forza Motorsport but it is a complete reboot of the series and signals where Microsoft and Turn 10 are taking the franchise towards – a fun racing game that can be taken seriously too. Here’s a full-bodied review.
This blog is all about the Forza Motorsport 8 track list, whether they are sim-worthy, and if/when more tracks will be added to the roster.
How many tracks are in Forza Motorsport 2023?
A total of 20 tracks are in the base game on-launch. More tracks will be added as free in-game content or as DLCs. Out of these 20, 16 are real-world tracks and there are 4 more Forza-only imagined circuits too. The game does have a shorter version of the Nürburgring while the full-length Nordschleife is to be added as an in-game in 2024.
Forza Motorsport 8 Track List
- Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya
- Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps
- Homestead-Miami Speedway
- Indianapolis Motor Speedway
There’s no track reveal for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway but this track is in the game so best enjoyed right there!
- Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit
- Le Mans – Circuit International de la Sarthe
- Lime Rock Park
- Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course
- Mugello Circuit
- Nürburgring GP
- Road America
- Silverstone Circuit

Out of these, tracks 1 to 16 are real-world tracks, precisely virtualized for Forza. Tracks 17 to 20 are imagined tracks only available in Forza.
These are 20 tracks currently in the base game with room and talks for more tracks later.
We already have a confirmation on 2 new tracks to add in –
- Yas Marina Circuit
- Nordschleife
While there are circuits like Sebring that fans expect in Forza, Yas Marina will release as a free update in November, made available in-game. Nordschleife will find its way no earlier than Spring 2024.
Coming to the tracks, this is the most precise Forza Motorsport to date and that’s without dispute.
FM 7 was great but with this new Forza in 2023, Turn 10 has reestablished dominance in track realism. Even though car models do look better in GT7, the tracks on Forza 2023 are more detailed in both imagery and gameplay.
As for the rest, the best way to find out about each track is to follow the race line and then do better. Here’s a look at the car list as well.
