A fan of the game has managed to piece together all the teasers for Chapter 4 Season 3. They’ve created an image that gives us a sneak peek at what the new jungle Point of Interest (POI) will look like.
The End of MEGA Season
The MEGA Season is wrapping up, and on June 9, we’ll be diving into a brand new Fortnite season. Season changes are always exciting for Fortnite fans.
It’s a big event, and often, players have to bid farewell to some of their favorite locations, weapons, items, and even game mechanics.
Leaks and Teasers
Over the past few weeks, there have been several leaks about the upcoming season. So, players have a bit of an idea of what to expect from Chapter 4 Season 3. Speaking of teasers, look ahead at what Fortnite’s Chapter 5 has to offer.
For some time now, the leaked information has suggested that Season 3 would bring back a jungle biome to Fortnite, complete with familiar features like the Raptor.
Official Teasers and Fan Deductions
On June 5, the official Fortnite Twitter account started hinting at a jungle theme. They added vines and leaves to their profile picture and header image. Shortly after fans noticed this change, Epic Games released a short video teaser. The video revealed that the upcoming season will be called Fortnite WILDS.
In the video, the screen was mostly black, but you could see a background image behind the word “WILDS.” The image seemed to be a new jungle POI. Other official Fortnite Twitter accounts posted the same video in different languages.
In these versions, the season name was translated, which meant players could see other parts of the picture. A Redditor named NomNomNomNation decided to combine all the teaser images to try and reveal the complete image.
The result was a nearly perfect reveal of the upcoming location.
The New Location
The image shows a castle surrounded by water and greenery. It’s hard to say exactly where it is, but because of the large red tree in the background, many players think it could replace Anvil Square. It would make sense for Anvil Square to be removed in the upcoming season.
There have been three excavation camps set up near the POI because of the unusual seismic activity happening there recently.
The new jungle POI is perfectly set to become Fortnite’s fan-favorite Thrasher Dirt Bike playground.
