Epic Game Store’s recent update has sparked speculation that the leaked Berserker Fortnite skin might be released for free as part of a collaboration with The Elder Scrolls Online.
Fortnite, known for its collaborations with various brands and franchises, has previously brought together iconic characters from rival consoles, such as Kratos and Master Chief.
Gaming Legends in Fortnite
Fortnite has a unique ‘Gaming Legends’ rarity for cosmetic items, reserved for characters from other video games.
The game features characters from a wide range of video games, including Attack on Titan, My Hero Academia, Horizon Zero Dawn, League of Legends, Destiny, Tomb Raider, Resident Evil, Assassin’s Creed, Halo, God of War, The Witcher, Gears of War, Borderlands, Doom, and Dead Space. Even NBA players like Giannis collaborated with the game.
The Berserker Skin Leak
The latest addition to the Gaming Legends set could be a Berserker skin from The Elder Scrolls Online. Reliable Fortnite streamer, ShiinaBR, revealed that an update to the Epic Games Store hinted at the upcoming release of The Elder Scrolls Online for free from July 20 to July 27.
Given the impending collaboration between Epic Games and Bethesda, it’s plausible that the skin will be available during this period, and possibly for free.
Free Skins and More
While this is still speculation, Epic Games has previously offered free Fortnite skins to users of the Epic Games Launcher. More details are expected to be revealed soon.
In the meantime, Fortnite players who own the Chapter 4 Season 3 Battle Pass can unlock the Purradise Meowscles skin for free by completing a series of challenges. This provides an engaging activity for players while they await the release of the Berserker skin. We may be seeing the return of the fan-favorite Scar as well.
