Emily Ratajkowski, the actress/model, recently gave her reaction to the photos of her kissing musician Harry Styles that went viral in March.
She mentioned that the attention on her love life is something others shouldn’t be excited about, and that it’s a tiny slice of her life.
In an interview with Vogue Spain, the 31-year-old model and actress clarified the rumors about her feud with Styles’ ex, Olivia Wilde, stating that no such conflict exists.
Private life made public
“It’s very bizarre to have certain experiences and then have the whole world know about them and comment on them,” Ratajkowski said.
“I’m just a person who’s gone from a three-year relationship to a four-year relationship, so this is the first time in a long time that I’ve been in a dating stage.”
The model added that most of her life is focused on her son and work, but unfortunately, these issues don’t inspire the same flashy headlines.
Emily Ratajkowski expressed that the invasion of private aspects is tough for her.
In March, the Daily Mail published photos and videos of Ratajkowski and Styles passionately kissing in Tokyo. A source revealed that the two were “friendly” before this outing.
However, Ratajkowski stressed that these photos and videos represented only a small fraction of her personal life.
“Harry and Emily know each other,” the source said, adding, “They have been friendly for a while.”
Styles and Wilde ended their relationship in November, after almost two years of dating, according to sources.
Olivia Wilde was in Tokyo filming her new movie, ‘Don’t Worry Darling,’ at the time of the photos’ publication. There were rumors of a feud between Wilde and Ratajkowski.
However, the model cleared up the speculations, mentioning that they were just an unfortunate issue.
Dating after divorce
Following her separation from film producer Sebastian Bear-McClard in 2022, with whom she was married for four years and shares a two-year-old son, Sylvester Apollo Bear, Ratajkowski has been actively dating.
She has been briefly linked to Brad Pitt and has dated Saturday Night Live alum Pete Davidson and comedian Eric André.
In the interview with Vogue Spain, Ratajkowski also touched upon her new book, “My Body,” where she explores the ideas of femininity, power, and ownership over her own image.
She noted that it has been a different and fulfilling experience writing a book compared to her modeling and acting career.
