How To Complete “Corporate Secrets” Quest In Tarkov

The Corporate Secrets Quest given to players by the NPC called Mechanic can be quite challenging for new players.

In order to successfully complete the quest, players must be Level 17 and have to traverse numerous buildings and pick up a number of items.

All of this can be pretty confusing, which is why we have made this nifty little “Corporate Secrets” Quest guide to help players out.  

Primary Objectives

The basic premise of the Corporate Secrets Quest is to obtain two different items from within two separate buildings that can be found on the Lighthouse map. 

The objectives themselves include: 

1. Locate and obtain the Water Pump operation data.
2. Locate and obtain the Pumping Station operation report.
3. Finally, deliver both the Water Pump operations data and the Pumping Station operations report to the Mechanic. 

Where to Find the Water Pump Operation Data? 

The Water Pump Operation Data can be found in a building directly to the West of the Water Treatment Plant. This building is marked “1” on the image provided below:

It is a good idea to enter this first building from the Northern side by sliding underneath its large metal service doors. Our objective is to reach the Offices upstairs. 

Upon entering, move straight ahead until you find a flight of stairs to your right-hand side. Ascend these stairs and enter the Offices located on the Western part of the building. 

The reports can be found on a shelf next to the wall. 

Where to Find the Pumping Station Operation Report?

The Pumping Station Operation report can be found in the building towards the Northern part of the Water Treatment Plant. It is the building marked “2” in the image that was provided above. The building itself looks like the following: 

You can enter this building through its Western side, as there is a door open (seen in the image above). Upon entering, the player should keep moving straight in the opposite direction until they see a flight of stairs leading upwards on their right-hand side. 

The player should now move to the Northern Office. You will find a stack of files that are placed right next to a laptop. These are the reports that you are searching for. 

Extractions

In order to ensure the player leaves the map with the items collected, they must safely extract them. The two closest extracts that can be utilized in this regard are: 

1. The Armoured Train Extract towards the North

2. The Road to Military Base Extract towards the East 

Note: The Quest items will only appear in their respective locations if the Corporate Secrets Quest is active. 

The Rewards 

Successful completion of the Corporate Secrets Quest can net players the following rewards: 

1. 8,000 EXP is gained
2. Rep with the Mechanic is increased by 0.02
3. You obtain 40,000 Roubles
   1. If Intelligence Centre is Level 1 then 42,080 Roubles
   2. If Intelligence Centre is Level 2 then 46,480 Roubles 
4. Moreover, it unlocks a barter trade for the AK-104 7.62×39 assault rifle at Mechanic.
