Fans of BTS will have a treat this summer with the upcoming release of two solo documentaries from J-Hope and Suga.
Titled j-hope IN THE BOX and SUGA: Road to D-Day, the films will be released worldwide in theaters beginning June 17, coinciding with the group’s 10th anniversary.
The documentaries will give moviegoers an inside look into the lives and work of these two BTS members, who are currently pursuing solo ventures while the group is on a break and some of its members are serving in the South Korean military.
Tickets for both films will be available starting May 16 at 7 p.m. ET. Fans can expect an immersive experience on the big screen with large screens and three-dimensional sound.
J-Hope’s Documentary: IN THE BOX
The documentary j-hope IN THE BOX follows J-Hope’s creative process as he works on his first solo album, Jack in the Box.
The film will provide viewers with a close-up look at his preparation process for the album, including his epic 2022 Lollapalooza performance and the Jack In The Box listening party.
Suga’s Documentary: Road to D-Day
The other documentary, SUGA: Road to D-DAY, takes fans on a journey as Suga travels the world in search of inspiration for his recently released solo album D-DAY.
Fans will see Suga’s vulnerable side as he discusses his writer’s block with other musicians and delves deep into his traumatic memories to pen lyrics for some of his latest songs.
Celebrating BTS’ 10th Anniversary
The release of these documentaries is a way of celebrating BTS’ 10th anniversary.
