It has been revealed today that the much-anticipated Splinter Cell Conviction title is set to include a co-op campaign portion, that will not only act as a prologue to the main storyline but also be of a sizeable length at around six hours. Alongside its freshly unveiled six-hour co-op campaign, Splinter Cell Conviction is also set to include a number of standalone challenge modes. These will currently be referred to as Third Echelon Missions and will be spread across a variety of six maps. These are based upon four levels seen within the co-operative campaign, and two that will be exclusive to the mode. Square Enix had promised to make a big announcement today regarding Final Fantasy XIII, and towards the end of the newly released trailer have unveiled exactly what fans within both Europe and America have been waiting for – its release date.
