During a recent appearance on the H3 podcast, anti-feminist creator Pearl Davis voiced several controversial viewpoints, causing quite a stir in the YouTube community.
Hosted by YouTuber Ethan Klein, the podcast often invites contentious guests to discuss their views.
Davis, known for her firm anti-feminist beliefs, told Klein that she believes divorce should be illegal and women should not have the right to vote.
Representing an Anti-Feminist Stance
In the past year, Pearl Davis has emerged as a prominent figure within a significant group of individuals who assert that women have too many rights and men need to be more assertive.
As Davis discussed her beliefs on the H3 podcast, she stated that she believes women are happier when they are stay-at-home mothers and professed her opinion that feminism, in general, is detrimental.
“I think we should have policies that push family,” Davis said during the podcast. “I think women are happier when we have family and kids over a career in the long run.” However, Davis herself does not have children.
Gaining Traction on YouTube
Under the username “Pearl,” Davis has amassed an audience of 1.5 million subscribers on her YouTube channel.
Her anti-feminist content saw a surge in popularity following the imprisonment of notorious misogynist Andrew Tate in a Romanian jail. This situation allowed Davis to fill a content gap, although her channel’s growth has slowed recently.
Advocating for Traditional Gender Roles
During her two-hour debate with Klein, Davis reiterated her stance on traditional gender roles within the household, asserting that contemporary feminism was causing harm to society.
She suggested that children from single-mother households were at a disadvantage, and that making divorce illegal would be a solution to this issue.
“I think we should ban divorce, I think that should be banned, yes,” Davis stated in the episode. “I just think that if you want to leave, you just shouldn’t get married. That’s just my opinion.”
A Controversial Voice in the Online Space
As an influential figure with controversial views, Davis continues to fuel the ongoing discussion about gender roles and feminism within the online community.
The implications of her viewpoints, particularly those advocating for the restriction of women’s rights, remain a hotly contested topic.
As the debate continues, it will be interesting to see how these discussions shape societal norms and policies in the future.
