Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers on Xbox One and Series X are in luck this month, as they have access to some extra free games to add to their digital libraries.
In case you didn’t know, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate combines Game Pass with Xbox Live Gold, making it a must-have subscription for Xbox gamers.

Apart from the obvious benefits of playing multiplayer games online and enjoying discounts, Xbox Live Gold subscriptions also come with free games every month. While the Xbox free Games with Gold have taken a back seat recently with Microsoft’s focus on Game Pass, they still offer a great opportunity to bolster your game collection.
If you are an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, you can claim six free games for your digital libraries this month. Although Guts ‘N Goals is only available for free until March 16, Sudden Strike 4 – Complete Collection can be claimed until March 31, while Truberbrook and Lamentum can be claimed until the same date.

The other two games, Port Royale 3 and Space Invaders: Infinity Gene, are also available for free, though they are not part of the Games with Gold lineup and the reasons for their availability remain unknown.

This isn’t the first time, though
Interestingly, this isn’t the first time that Port Royale 3 has been given away for free by Xbox. Last year, Xbox Live Gold subscribers were surprised to find the game available for free with no official announcement. Similarly, Space Invaders: Infinity Gene has also been previously given away for free as part of the Xbox free Games with Gold games for January 2022.
Going forward, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can expect to receive at least two free games every month. However, Microsoft may surprise subscribers with additional free games from time to time, so it’s always a good idea to claim them when they become available.
