Will Starfield Constellation Edition Restock?

Starfield is the biggest game release of the decade so far and that’s just my opinion.

This is Bethesda’s first original new release in all of 25 years and there’s a generation that’s grown up on Skyrim.

From a tryst with the medieval past to the unending possibilities of the future – Starfield is Bethesda’s juggernaut for the next decade. The hype’s amazing and despite Baldur’s Gate releasing alongside, Starfield is its very own niche.

And Bethesda looks like they know what they’re doing.

The icing on the cake is the Starfield Constellation Edition.

If you’re wondering whether this is the same as the Collector’s Edition, you need to read this.

Starfield Constellation Edition: Why ‘Constellation’?

Constellations are related to stars and astrology and the mythical world beyond us. So, it’s obvious enough.

Wrong.

Constellation is the central dogma to Starfield’s primary storyline and probably the first arch of it all.

In-game, you make your way to New Atlantis City, and you’re intuitively guided to the secret layout of the ‘Constellation’, a positive bunch of folks (who’ll later turn out to be your companions – you can read more about that here), who are searching for mystical artifacts that point toward one thing – there’s something out there.

That’s a gaming cliché we’re yet to overcome and sadly Bethesda does keep it simple for starters.

But that’s just what the main story is all about so far – you and your Constellation teammates scour for ‘artifacts’ across the galaxy.

Digital Items

You get a Starfield digital copy and the following – 

Early Access

As with all Starfield editions except the Standard edition, of course, you get a 5-day Early Access to Starfield. So, while most of us get to play on the 6^th of September which is the official Starfield release date, you get to play from the 1^st.

Shattered Space

No, we’re not getting a container with dark matter inside it. Instead, this is a story expansion that’s already slated for release post official game release.

Constellation Skin Pack

You get to start with the Equinox Laser Rifle, Spacesuit, Helmet and Boost Pack. We don’t know the stats advantages but there’ll surely be some. And they’re supposed to look cool.

You also get this pack with all pre-ordered editions (except the Standard Edition).

Soundtrack and Artbook

Custom soundtrack and artbook are always worth it as collectibles especially for a game release of this magnitude.

Physical Items

The Starfield Constellation Edition is one of 2 physical editions from Bethesda, the reason why it’s supposedly sold out. But here’s what you can get if you can unless you already have –

Starfield Watch

The watch is from UK-based props brand The Wand Company. The watch itself might be the LPV6 Chronomark Smartwatch.

It does get some serious screen time in-game and it’d be cool to have it since it’s a smartwatch that can connect to your mobile device to show notifications and the like.

The Watch Case

I love how it looks but they won’t ship just the case, so I’ll pass. The best part for me was the locking mechanism.

A cool patch to wear to Gamescom 2024.

Whoever’s behind the color palette and branding for Starfield deserves a raise.

Constellation Edition News and Wiki

Starfield Constellation Edition PC and Xbox

Starfield is an Xbox exclusive and therefore a Windows PC exclusive as well.

It’s up for both Xbox X and S. (Starfield will also run on Xbox One!)

Matter of fact you can preload your Starfield Constellation Edition on your PC since it’s already gone gold.

If you’ve bought it, you’ll know Starfield went gold way back on August 17. That means you can expect your installed Starfield to be up and running right from Early Access (since if you’ve ordered it already you have essentially pre-ordered it and all pre-orders come with Early Access.)

Starfield Constellation Edition Steam

Starfield will be available via Steam on purchase so you can enjoy Starfield Constellation Edition on Steam as well from the release date. If you bought it before the release date, you’ve preordered it and therefore you also get Early Access as well.

Beyond the Constellation Edition, Starfield is available for preload on Steam from 30^th August as well.

Is Starfield Constellation Edition sold out?

Right now, Starfield Constellation Edition maybe available on GameStop, Amazon and Best Buy. I don’t have the stats but stocks hit nil before and they’ll do again soon.

Will Starfield Constellation Edition restock?

We can have our hopes high but there’s little chance of that happening since Bethesda will be moving forward to DLCs and expansion packs quickly. But I’m sure online and offline stores are waiting for Early Access reviews, and they’ll restock a couple of Constellation Editions early or late based on it.
