Slovenia-based electronic table game developer, Spintec, has revealed a significant partnership with Konami Australia. The collaboration will see Konami Australia, a subsidiary of the global gaming giant, Konami Group Corporation, distributing Spintec’s products across Australia and New Zealand.
A Major Step for Spintec
The distribution agreement is a key milestone for Spintec as it broadens its reach into the Australasian market. Konami Australia, renowned for designing and manufacturing slot machines (pokies) and casino management systems, is an excellent partner for Spintec.
Spintec CEO, Goran Miškulin, shared his enthusiasm about the partnership, “After investing in certifying our ETG devices, we are thrilled to have found an ideal sales partner for the Australian market. This partnership validates the quality of our products and opens up new opportunities for growth and expansion in a promising market like Australia.”
Looking Ahead: Expansion Plans
Under the first phase of the distribution agreement, Konami will distribute Spintec products through the X-Series Protocol. Clubs and gaming halls in New South Wales will be the first recipients, with future plans for broader expansion across the Australasian markets.
Moreover, Spintec plans to have its SAS Protocol products certified for other Australian states, including its roulette, sic bo, baccarat, and blackjack tables.
Adding to Miškulin’s sentiments, Gerard Crosby, GM of Product Development, Director, Office Holder and Secretary at Konami Australia, said, “We are pleased to partner with Spintec. Their electronic table games are among the best in the world and possess huge potential in Australia. We are confident that we can help Spintec achieve its sales ambitions in this market.”
This partnership announcement follows Spintec’s recent expansion into Monheim Casino with Merkur Gaming, where it installed a total of 44 units.
