Horror fans across the globe are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Resident Evil 4 remake, and it looks as though gamers will get their first taste of it, as it’s been suggested that the demo will be rolling out sometime today.
However, here’s the catch: they didn’t include the exact time.

The Resident Evil 4 remake has been eagerly anticipated by horror fans worldwide, and a demo release is rumored to be happening today. As one of the most revered games in the legendary horror franchise, RE4 transformed the series in ways that still impact it today.
Given its iconic status, it’s no surprise that many are excited about the upcoming remake, which aims to make the game more suitable for modern audiences while retaining its original charm. Resident Evil 4 Remake Demo is marked as available now
Industry analyst MauroNL tweeted that the Resident Evil 4 Remake demo should be rolling out today, based on an ad on Twitch that says it’s “available now.”
However, a quick online search shows that the demo isn’t yet available. WCCFTech reported that the ad may have been posted too soon, but it looks like the demo could arrive within the next few hours, likely after the showcase.
Capcom’s showcase will start at 2:30 PM PST, where the developer will show off more of RE4 and other titles, such as Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak and the Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection. However, RE4 is expected to be the main focus of the event, drawing a lot of attention. Hopefully, the demo will be available at that time, as suggested.
In addition to updating the game for modern audiences, the Resident Evil 4 remake seems to be toning down its campiness. It will likely retain its B-movie feel that made the original such a classic, but Capcom aims to give it a darker tone, similar to the remakes of RE2 and RE3.
