Bally’s Corporation, a top player in the gaming industry, has made two new hires. Don Westcott and Tammi Barlow are expected to make significant contributions due to their vast experience.
Westcott will be the new VP of Compliance and Legal Affairs. He will create rules for financial organizations and fintech service providers in the gaming industry.
From the Gaming Sector to Compliance
Westcott’s journey began at Jumer’s Casino and Hotel, which is now part of Bally’s Quad Cities. He also held leadership roles at Caesars Entertainment, Osage Casinos, and the Isle of Capri Casinos. Westcott has extensive knowledge and expertise in the gaming industry and is expected to ensure Bally’s Corporation adheres to all compliance regulations.
Barlow, on the other hand, will be responsible for developing and implementing responsible gambling initiatives as the new VP of Social Impact & Responsible Gaming. She comes with a wealth of experience from her previous roles at MGM Resorts International and Caesars Entertainment, where she led responsible gaming efforts.
A Focus on Responsible Gaming
Tammi Barlow is the new director of Responsible Gaming and Corporate Social Responsibility. She has spent over ten years establishing initiatives for responsible gaming within the industry. Before joining Bally’s, Barlow was responsible for Rush Street Interactive’s social responsibility strategy, with a focus on responsible gaming initiatives.
Barlow has a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). She has served as a co-chairwoman and is a current committee member for Global Gaming Women’s DEI Committee. She chairs the Responsible Gaming Committee for the National Council on Problem Gambling. Additionally, she actively participates in the Massachusetts Council on Gaming and Health, and African Americans in Gaming.
