The popular Minecraft server, Mineplex, which had been shut down earlier, has been revived by Sam “Samito” Dawahare, an Overwatch streamer and former professional player.
Mineplex, known for its multiplayer maps and custom minigames, had a large player base and even held a Guinness World Record for the most concurrent players on a single server in Minecraft.
However, it faced a decline in popularity and eventually closed its doors.
Minplex Acquired by Samito
On May 16, Mineplex announced its permanent shutdown, leaving many players devastated. But now, Samito has acquired 100% ownership of Mineplex and is determined to bring back the passion and excitement that the server once provided to millions of players worldwide.
As a former YouTuber and Twitch streamer, Samito’s career began with Minecraft, and he gained popularity alongside the Mineplex server where he often played.
He even served as an admin on the server before transitioning to Overwatch.
Samito Gave Assurance
Samito promises his fans that he is not quitting Overwatch but rather expanding his endeavors. He wants to pursue his long-term dreams of providing great games to the next generation while still supporting and hoping for the success of Overwatch, a game that holds a special place in his heart.
