A new collaboration between Minecraft and Crocs will introduce one of the most famous types of footwear to the Minecraft universe!
The makers of Minecraft, Mojang Studios, announce a collaboration with the popular shoe company Crocs.
Brands collaborating with Mojang
Burberry and APPE are just two examples of the many companies that have worked with Minecraft to both provide real-world clothing and have their brand appear in-game.
Given Minecraft’s status as one of the most played video games ever, it makes perfect business sense for brands to attempt to align themselves with the popular video game.
Furthermore, to increase demand for in-depth action figures, Mattel, Mojang’s physical toy line partner, has now launched the Minecraft Creator Series Camp Enderwood DLC map.
On February 16, 2023, a new line of shoes inspired by the Minecraft x Crocs crossover will hit shelves.
What’s in it for Minecraft x Crocs?
Different designs from the Minecraft x Crocs series highlight various game icons.
There will be four variations on the traditional “Clog” shoe, each sporting a different character or in-game element, such as the creeper mascot or one of the many farm animals players may encounter.
Moreover, there will also be a variety of Jibbitz, miniature charms that attach to the perforations in the shoes, and a Croc “Slides” variant with a subtle black and green design.
Jibbitz like Steve and Alex, as well as a pig and even tiny versions of Minecraft bricks, will be sold individually.
The Croc shoes look nice
A pair of virtual shoes will reveal itself alongside the physical one.
Moreover, in the game, players will be able to equip their characters with Crocs, the iconic sandals known for their front holes and adjustable strap.
In other words, the footwear is ideal for players who want to take a stroll in Minecraft’s open world.
Shoes will be introduced to gamers’ wardrobes at no extra cost and on the same day as the shoe release.
