Just like with previous character releases, the game has treated fans to an in-depth promotional video, delving into Kirara’s captivating backstory.
The official announcement of Kirara took place during the recent Special Program event, leaving fans eagerly anticipating her arrival.
About Kirara
During the live stream, Genshin Impact revealed that Kirara will be the only new character in the upcoming cycles, meaning that the following two banner rotations will feature four different re-runs. The highly anticipated Update 3.7 is set to grace live servers on May 24, immediately following the conclusion of the ongoing Baizhu and Ganyu double banner.
The official YouTube channel of Genshin Impact has finally unveiled the character demo for Kirara, the mesmerizing four-star Dendro character. As the first Dendro user hailing from the Inazuma region, Kirara adds a unique flair to the roster, making Mondstadt the only region without a character possessing this Vision.
Her official biography confirms Kirara’s unwavering dedication to her work at the renowned Komaniya Express, a beloved delivery company within the Electro nation.

The character demo showcases Kirara’s remarkable delivery skills, as she journeys across the vast world of Teyvat, transporting packages to destinations ranging from Inazuma and Sumeru to Mondstadt and Liyue.
One of her extraordinary abilities involves curling up into a delivery box, providing additional movement speed and essential protection—a testament to her exceptional proficiency.
Kirara’s skills
When utilizing her Elemental Skill, Meow-teor Kick, Kirara unleashes a powerful flying kick that deals AoE Dendro damage while conjuring a Shield of Safe Transport. The strength of the shield scales with Kirara’s maximum HP, making it crucial for players to prioritize this stat when building her as a Dendro character.
Kirara’s formidable Elemental Burst, Secret Art: Surprise Dispatch, delivers a straightforward yet impactful effect. She deploys a special delivery package that inflicts AoE Dendro damage. Upon detonation, the package disintegrates into numerous Dendro mines, which explode upon contact, reminiscent of Klee’s Jumpy Dumpty.
As for her official release date, HoYoverse has confirmed during their Special Program event that Kirara will make her debut on the first banner in Genshin Impact version 3.7.
What’s coming to Genshin Impact
This highly anticipated banner will showcase two limited five-star characters: Yoimiya, a Pyro bow user known for her unparalleled single-target damage, and Yae Miko, an extraordinary Electro catalyst wielder.
Yoimiya stands out as one of the best Pyro DPS characters in Genshin Impact, while Yae Miko’s versatility allows her to seamlessly fit into various team compositions as a formidable Electro user, thanks to her incredible Seshou Sakura totems.
