The Espresso Cookie is a powerful Epic Magic Cookie that can deliver some major DPS.
In addition to being an ardent perfectionist, Espresso is skilled at magic involving his namesake.
This article brings you the complete rundown on how you can get this Epic Cookie along with its skill specs.
Espresso Cookie Run: Skill Specs
- Skill: Grinding
- Class: Magic
- Position: Middle
Grinding the beans to a precise and even consistency is crucial for the best coffee. A giant whirlwind causes area damage to enemies and pulls them towards its center. The final blast interrupts skills.
- Base Cooldown time: 15 seconds
- 80.0% DMG over 7 hits (+0.9-1% DMG per level)
- 100.0% DMG with last hit (+1.23-1.25% DMG per level)
Espresso Cookie’s skill is very similar to Latte Cookie’s skill, although it is less useful. Both Cookies deal area damage and have a 15-second cooldown at the base level.
However, using a coffee-inspired vortex spanning eight total hits, Espresso Cookie deals DMG across the board.
The last hit deals burst damage that interrupts enemies’ skills, making it useful against healers like Cotton Cookie and one-hit wonders like Sea Fairy Cookie when timed correctly.
How to Get Espresso Cookie
There are two methods of getting the Espresso Cookie:
Gacha
Espresso Cookie can be unlocked in the Gacha. There is a 0.096% chance of receiving Espresso Cookie in the regular Cookie Gacha.
Each Cookie Gacha pull costs 300 Crystals, meaning 3000 Crystals for 10 pulls. Players can also summon Cookies using Cookie Cutter Summons that appear throughout the game.
You can also buy crystals for real money in the game, but the rewards are pretty generous, so unless you want to purchase many Gacha pulls at once, just playing the game will earn you enough crystals.
Besides winning battles and completing quests, crystals can also be obtained through daily rewards and achievements.
Sometimes, developers give players free crystals when they feel generous or if there is a special event, so keep an eye out!
Soulstones
In addition, players can unlock the Espresso Cookie if they acquire the Cookie’s Soulstones. When you have 20 of these Soulstones, you can unlock the Cookie.
You can get Espresso Cookie’s Soulstones at stages 8-15 in Dark Mode, or from the Cookie Gacha. There is only a 0.547% chance of obtaining these Soulstones in the Cookie Gacha.
Toppings for Espresso Cookie in Cookie Run Kingdom
There are two basic choices available when it comes to Espresso Cookie toppings.
- X5 Searing Raspberry Topping
- X5 Swift Chocolate Topping
The best Espresso Cookie Toppings build would be X5 Searing Raspberry with CD sub-stats. Adding X5 Searing Raspberry to Espresso increases the DMG output and is the best build if you need more DMG from Espresso.
The Swift Chocolate Topping with ATK DMG sub-stats is another Espresso Cookie Toppings build set you can consider. This build is not as highly recommended, but you can try and see if it works for you.
