If you had over 29M followers on YouTube alone, millions of fans were tuning in to your every Twitch stream and buying your merch all for one purpose, what would you do?
Give them what they want, or milk it as long as you can?
We don’t know about you, but Dream’s maybe stretching it a bit too far. Or is he?.
In fact, Dream has openly admitted that he plans to ‘take full advantage of it’ before he takes off the smiley face.
That said, Dream does have a knack for keeping things spicy.
On his Instagram, Dream has uploaded full-body pictures, without showing his face, of course. And the fans went into a frenzy seeing Dream show off his merch.
The teasing has been top-tier, and so has the fans’ thirst over Dream’s face.
Many think that the Dream face reveal has already happened, that too, more than once. But there are naysayers too.
So, we decided to dive deep into this crazy phenomenon and share our take on this whole Dream face reveal fiasco.
Dream Face Reveal – Pranks, Teasers, & Catfishing?
Dream has been teasing a face reveal ever since the resurgence of his YouTube channel.
Believe it or not, Dream started a YouTube channel where he uploaded Minecraft videos regularly.
However, the channel was a total bust at first. So much so that he stopped uploading, rendering the channel inactive in 2019.
Did You Know: Dream started his YouTube channel in 2014 when he was only 15 years old. And in the first 3 years, he only gained 1K subscribers.
But it all changed in 2020 when Dream’s channel grew from 1M to 15M subscribers, within a year. And along with the highly-entertaining Speed Runs and Manhunts, fans started asking him for a face reveal.
So, what did Dream do? He started teasing and pranking his fans about the face reveal. Here’s every Dream Face reveal prank and teaser ever.
#DreamOut
We start with a leak that caused Twitter outrage, but Dream was quick to shut down the rumors. Twitter user @oomfed1 posted the following Tweet claiming Dream ‘catfished’ his fans.
He even claimed Dream was using his brother as a body double. Very far-fetched, but it got the fans talking. In the end, the #DreamOut farce had a swift ending after Dream called it a ‘picture of some random person.’
A face reveal round about now would have been perfect, no?
April Fool’s
Many believe that the Dream face reveal happened during the TrainwrecksTV podcast.
Fans think that Dream finally slipped up when he “accidentally” switched his video camera on during the live podcast.
Here’s a screenshot from that podcast. Dream had just joined and forgot to turn off his camera.
Jack Manifold’s reaction says it all.
The clip went viral on every social media platform.
However, it was later revealed that it was an April Fools prank and Dream wasn’t even a part of the podcast lineup.
Dream Face Reveal Twitter Teaser
The best and most recent Dream face reveal tease has been on Twitter. He Tweeted a picture showing off his blonde locks while wearing a black Corpse beanie. The only purpose was to tease the fans, as he quickly deleted the Tweet.
However, fans got hold of the picture and in no time it was all over the internet.
But the problem persists. He models for his merch, we’ve got a glimpse of his hair, and we’ve even seen his brother, but there’s still no Dream face reveal.
Is it on the cards?
When Will Dream do a Face Reveal?
One thing’s clear, Dream will milk this thing to its last drop. He has talked about doing a face reveal lots of times.
Dream even shared his plan of featuring in a Georgenotfound Vlog and revealing a face either in that Vlog or a few weeks after that.
‘It’s all a bit complicated,’ he said.
Another well-set platform from the Dream face reveal is his IRL Manhunt. Dream teased an IRL Minecraft Manhunt if his Final Minecraft Manhunt video crossed 2M likes.
Now that the video has crossed the number, fans are eager to see Dream’s IRL Manhunt.
However, Dream hasn’t spoken about revealing his face during the IRL Manhunt. It’s just fans’ assuming he’ll do it because a Minecraft-like Manhunt with that smiley face on isn’t easy to pull off.
Dream might not even host the IRL Manhunt for all we know. And if he does decide to do it, there’s still no credible source that can confirm a Dream face reveal during the Manhunt.
And that’s all the latest from the Dream face reveal front.
If you are a devoted Dream fan, now’s the time to be excited about the face reveal, because it looks more of a possibility now than it ever has in the past.
We do hope he doesn’t push it too far and gets it over with before his fans lose patience.
