Diablo 4 Beta Update: All Current Issues and Fixes

Blizzard recently shared an update on the technical issues and fixes they are currently addressing for Diablo 4’s ongoing open beta as of writing.

This is great news for fans eagerly anticipating the game’s full release in early June. While technical issues are expected in any beta, Blizzard is doing its best to keep players informed and improve the overall experience.

Issues found from the Diablo 4 beta test

The open beta has seen its fair share of technical issues, but Blizzard has been quick to address them. While some problems have yet to be resolved, the team has made significant improvements to areas such as server disconnects and queue timers. In fact, Blizzard issued a fix for the queue time issues just last Friday. Queue times may still vary depending on the region and time of day, but players should hopefully have a smoother experience.

Blizzard has also published a list of ongoing technical issues found in the beta on the official Diablo 4 forums. The most significant issue is players being disconnected and then unable to rejoin the game.

This is tied to other errors and network performance issues and may not be resolved during the open beta.

However, Blizzard has issued fixes for other problems such as crashes in Fullscreen mode and voice dialogue issues.

If you’re planning to try out the open beta this weekend, it’s recommended to switch to Windowed Fullscreen mode and English dialogue to avoid potential technical issues. Keep in mind that queue times may still occur, but Blizzard is doing its best to minimize them.

The open beta is the last opportunity to test the game before its full release, so Blizzard is collecting data and feedback to improve the game. With the team’s transparency and dedication to improving the player experience, Diablo 4 is shaping up to be an exciting and polished game.
