A Site Best Smoke Spots in Dust 2

3. Catwalk Smoke

This is a defensive smoke spot for fending off enemies. Smoke at this point will completely block off opponents from Catwalk and you can shift your focus to Long.

Whether you are planting a bomb as a Terrorist or defusing one as a Counter-Terrorist, tossing a smoke at the Catwalk will prevent your opponents from charging in.

Stand at site A and aim at the Catwalk alley for best effects. 

2. Long Cross Smoke

Smoke at the Long cross is mainly used by Terrorists to get them cover while they rush to Site A to plant the bomb. This is one of the best smoke spots in Dust 2 for terrorists.

It stops CT from marching ahead and also makes them an easy target while standing at the elevated Site A.

At the feet of the descent from Site A, toss a smoke to block Long Cross.

1. Long Corner Smoke

As a terrorist, you are bound to encounter at least a couple of CTs crouching at the Long corner. Tossing a smoke grenade at this location will disrupt their vision and you can cross the doors without taking any damage.

Once you cross the door, one of your team members can keep them busy and get you cover while other terrorists can march ahead to Site A.

Peek through the doors and position the crosshair exactly at the corner and toss the smoke grenade.

4. Tunnel Smoke

If you are planting a bomb at Site B or trying to defuse one, smoke at the B site tunnel can stop your opponents in their tracks. A good throw at the tunnel door will compel your opponent to retreat or face your team out in the open.

In either case, you will have the upper hand. As a terrorist, you can buy yourself time to plant the bomb at B. Or as a CT, get cover while you defuse it.

But make sure you seek cover after throwing the smoke grenade. You wouldn’t want to get blindly peppered by opponent fire when they get smoked.

3. B Window Smoke

This is one of the best offensive smoke spots in Dust 2. You can either throw the smoke grenade over the wall, through the window, or from the tunnel.

While approaching from the tunnel, aim your crosshair over the crate, so that the grenade will land on anyone crouching behind it. While tossing it from over the wall, you can either aim it high or directly throw it through the window.

As site B has many blind spots, make sure you do a complete survey before your whole team tries to ambush the bomb location.

2. B Platform Smoke

If the bomb is planted at B, there’s bound to be a handful of opponents crouching on the platform, waiting for CTs to appear from the tunnel. So it goes without question that is one of the best smoke spots in Dust 2.

Not only does it get you good cover, but a few members can also surprise the opponents by rushing in from the B door as well. 

A smoke grenade at the B window and at the platform will restrict their movement giving you an opportunity to round them in without sustaining much damage.

1. B Door Smoke

B door smoke is the final spot if you want to take down opponents nestled at site B. As a CT, zeroing in on Terrorists at B, tossing smokes at the window, platform, and the door will help you round up almost all enemy targets.

You can smoke B door by throwing a smoke grenade from the tunnel or tossing it over the door.

If your team can somehow orchestrate smokes at all three locations in unison, you’ll have more than just luck by your side.

2. CT Smoke

CT Smoke is another popular area often smoked by the Terrorist squad. This is one of the smoke spots in Dust 2 that can confuse all CT spawn at one go. Also, this place can be targeted from B Site and X box.

The terrorist team can make their way from the middle or tunnel and try to toss a smoke grenade to ambush CT spawn.

The other flank can take out CT members as they come out of the smoke and get a sense of their heading.

1. Xbox Smoke

When you smoke CTs at Xbox, they have no choice, but to diverge to A and B spots. As you have elevation, you have better chances to keep an eye on any CT spawn that try to make their way from the middle.

For best effects, throw a smoke grenade in front of the double doors, and rush to the wall while on the platform. Now, as the smoke clears, you can keep an eye on CTs who are trying to make their way to the middle or sneak into the tunnel.

But make sure you wait and take your time before your shoot, because the moment you start firing at CT, your cover will be blown.
