Brian Garrard, Community Lead at Bungie, has revealed new details regarding the upcoming Halo: Reach Beta and what it holds in-store for its fans.
Speaking to Dan Maher, Xbox Live Editor otherwise known as MrPointyHead, Garrard explains:
“It will represent a sub-section of almost every main portion of the game. For example, we’ll have a couple of the new armor abilities we’ve been talking about, which are sort of the new version of equipment with pretty immense implications for gameplay. So some of those will be in there, some of the weapons will be in there, we’ll have a subset of maps and game types, some of which are returning favorites, some are brand new that people don’t even know about yet.”
He continues:
“So, all in all, it’s going to be a really good representative sampling of the final game. But of course, we’re going to hold back some stuff as we’ve got a long way to go until the Fall, and we want people to have some stuff to look forward to.”
Surely exciting stuff, and we’ll undoubtedly be looking forward to discovering the developments regarding the new armor abilities and what the new game types will be. Halo: Reach is undoubtedly shaping up to be one of the biggest titles of 2010. Keep coming back to TheLostGamer.
