Michael Ironside has voice acted the character Sam Fisher since the original Splinter Cell hit our consoles in 2002, now in its fifth incarnation Splinter Cell: Conviction looks set to be the next great installment of the popular franchise, but what does it take to be Sam Fisher. In this ComDev interview Ironside reveals more about being Sam and how playing the character was “satisfying and uncomfortable at the same time.”
Splinter Cell Conviction is out on April 16th exclusively for Xbox 360 and PC

Battlefield Bad Company 2 gets TV ad

Electronic Arts have released a 30 second TV advertisement for Battlefield Bad Company 2 ahead of the games release next week. Featuring quotes from major gaming publications its full of everything you would expect, helicopters, tanks, soldiers and a whole load of explosions.

Prince of Persia: Sands of Time – Official film trailer

Films based on games have had varying degrees of both success and failure, so news that Disney and Jerry Bruckheimer were set to make a film based upon the highly acclaimed Prince of Persia series was initially met with varying degrees of concern.
However, the latest trailer released today gives us much hope that the film will do the franchise justice – even though trailers are inevitably designed to show you all the best bits to get you excited about things, it can’t be denied that it looks like it’s shaping up nicely!
