Modern Warfare 2 ‘Javelin’ exploit patched

Robert Bowling, Director of Communications and Community Manager for Infinity Ward, has announced that the Javelin glitch currently being exploited by many currently playing Modern Warfare 2 has been patched.

Those with a Playstation 3 will now be prompted to download update 1.06, which will fix the Javelin and Care Package glitches as well as addressing areas where players could get into the geomapping. For those with an Xbox 360 copy, you’ll have to be slightly more patient to receive the same fixes as it’s currently making its way through Microsoft Q+A – shouldn’t be too long though.
