Ubisoft unveils new ‘Uplay’ reward programme

Whilst currently in Beta stages, Ubisoft has today unveiled a new ‘Uplay’ rewards programme that is set to provide an entirely unique experience within gaming. Aiming to “create a place where we play, share and win together,” Ubisoft hopes that players across the globe will help bring it to life.
Uplay is a fresh and innovative way to allow you to unlock exclusive content, games and more as you play the broad selection of Ubisoft titles across Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms. Using the service will be simple, and it is promised to be always available and continually up to date with the latest content – no matter what platform you are playing on, there won’t be any issues.
As the service continues to expand, Uplay Share will allow you to able to view and post your own content for friends to see, as well as track what they’ve been up to as well, whereas Uplay Help will provide you with Hints & Tips, Tutorials, and will soon offer in-game assistance to aid you get past all those difficult sections!
The first title to utilise the service will be Assassin’s Creed 2, set for release this week, and as a Uplay member you will be able to gain access to rewards such as weapons, maps, bonus missions, ammo and even Altair’s outfit. The most beneficial feature of the service is that you have total control as to what to choose to unlock, so whether you want to build up your points to gain access to the rarer unlocks, or prefer to use them immediately to gain yourself an advantage, the choice is up to you.
