Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising DLC Trailer

Codemasters acclaimed Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising title is set to receive its first DLC tomorrow, which will be made available for free to PC owners of the game. However PS3 and Xbox 360 owners will have to hold out a little longer, and also have to pay. Whilst a solid date for the DLC’s release isn’t confirmed, the price will be 400 MSP (£3.40/ €4.80) for Xbox 360 or £3.19/ €3.99 for Playstation 3.

The content, which has been titled Skirmish, will introduce four new multiplayer maps aswell as two new Fire Team Engagement missions that may be played within both solo and co-op modes. Within the new maps, ‘Lumberyard’ and ‘White Fang’ are set to be added to the list of Infiltration maps, with ‘Stomping Grounds’ and ‘Force Dispel’ adding to Annihilation. ‘All Round Defence’ and ‘Uphill Struggle’ are the two titles of the additional missions. A new feature is also added within the ‘Island Tour’ mode, allowing you to hunt around the entirety of the map.

A patch is also set to be released alongside the DLC tomorrow for PC and Xbox 360, with the same patch arriving at a later date on Playstation 3.
